Jooniebeads Treasures jewelry review/giveaway

I sell jewelry and I love getting inspiration from all over the place!  I am hoping one day I can be as good as Jooniebeads!! The jewelry she makes is really pretty and very well crafted!  I would love to have half her talent!

I got the pleasure of reviewing some of her work! As you can tell she gave me these earrings! I think they are my new favorite earrings!

They are sparkling petite amethyst crystal earrings. These are not my birthstone but I LOVED the look of them and I like the color of  the purple in these earrings (and it is my hubby's favorite color!!)  I find myself looking at the earrings wondering how she got the gem to stay in the earring! I have already got a complement on them! They are comfortable to wear and easy to put on! I forgot I had them on last night and slept with them on!

Her store has all sorts of different kinds of jewelry. Necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. She is inspired by anything from nature to the classical look!  Some of it is very bright colors and other is just metal! There is nothing in her shop that I don't want to buy (man I wish I was rich! LOL)!!

She also does custom jewelry so honestly your imagination is your only limit when it comes to getting jewelry from her.

Don't take my word for it check out her shop for yourself! Her jewelry is beautiful!

Check out the box she mailed the jewelry in!! I thought it was very creative!!

AND guess what guys while I have this giveaway going on (below) she is giving my readers 25% off using the code firefly! Now how can you past that up?

Amy Birnbaum Hand crafted artwork

CLOSED

I love this art work. I really do. It brings (to me) a sense of peace and innocents! Something that I have missed since I was a child, so when I was asked if I wanted to do a review and giveaway I was excited to do so and share her work with you!

She does totally original hand-crafted artwork! It is inspired by
her children and the farm that she lives on. It is hard to believe that these are paper cut outs! When I got mine I couldn't believe the quality of it! I have been trying to figure out where I want it in my house! I like the idea of it being in my son's bedroom. With the archival quality materials it is great piece that will last a long time!

How important is the quality of her artwork to her? (from her own words):
"Each piece is carefully hand-cut from one piece of paper and attached with acid-free glue to rigid art board. They are all hand made; there are no prints. The designs are original and hand sketched, not computer generated. I use black-on-white, white-on-black, and a variety of color combinations"

I am so excited that she wants to do a giveaway because I want to share this artwork with someone else! I love these pieces! She is a very talented artist! I hope that you will enjoy her work as much as I do!

If you are interested in buying the piece above or any of the others go to her shop.

Or if you are feeling lucky you can win $20.00 off your order from her on a custom job!!!

Review and Giveaway of Sarah Niebank Hoffman "Watercolor crayon" CLOSED!!

I had the the great privilege of getting a print from Sarah Niebank Hoffman to review!  She let me pick the print I liked and review her art.
This is the one I choose.
Watercolor Crayon

This is her thoughts for this painting: "This was my first piece using watercolor crayons...the colors can be spectacular when the right mixed happens. With the watercolor crayons i believe I get alot more "play" with thickness and intensity of color...it was very soothing to do and a total beautiful accident!"

My thoughts were not as sophisticated but I think does SOME justice to it: "WOW"!  This girl has got talent just oozing out of her!  It makes me wish I knew how to paint! I had my husband also give me his reaction (he is very arty) . He said to him it is a painting he could get lost in for hours just daydreaming. I feel it is becoming of the current season... spring. It is light and airy and the colors are refreshing.

I got an 8x10 print of this painting, would not mind a print on a much larger scale for an entrance way.

Besides this painting there is MUCH more on her etsy shop.  She has abstract (some of which remind me of Picasso kind of abstract), folk art, pointillism, digital art, mix medium and more! You need to go check out her store on etsy. She is really talented, it is worth a look and I bet when you get there you will have a hard time leaving the shop without buying something!

If you want to buy the print I am reviewing it is $15.00 here

Or if you are feeling lucky you can win ANY 8x10 print at her shop she was generous enough to let me do a giveaway right here on my Fire Butterfly Jewels website!!

Jazzies & Lilies Designs review: Now CLOSED

Are you looking for some jewelry that will start a conversation? Then this review is for you! I had the pleasure of reviewing 2 rings from this talented designer.

Jazzies & Lilies Designs was named after her daughter who is a Jazz dancer and after the Stargazer lily which is her favorite flower. It is obvious that she loves what she is doing! Her work is beautiful!

I got two rings to review and I can tell you that her work is really well done! I have been trying to figure out how she makes them! They are flawless!

This is the box that I got with both rings in it! I thought this was very well packaged and pretty too!

The rings were sitting in this which protected them and made it so they do not roll around in the box
Her packaging was AWESOME! There is no way any damage can come to these in the mail which has been a worry of mine for my own stuff!

Now on to the fun stuff... the rings and giveaway!

I got the rings Friday so I had all weekend to wear them around and get a feel for them. I also wanted to see what people would say if they noticed the rings.
Here is the results:

Comfort: With the wire wrapped on each side where the fingers land I was worried that it would feel weird or uncomfortable. I could not have been more wrong. After a few minutes of wearing the ring I actually forgot that I had them on.

Color: I LOVE the color on both of the rings. I keep staring at the rings wondering how she has the color come out so great! I was worried that the color would fade after washing my hands (I wash my hands a lot). The color is exactly the same... beautiful!! They are like a metallic shiny dark blue, and the most beautiful shade of metallic pink!

Does it loose it's shape:  Do they bend easily or do they stand firm? They are really tough! The treble clef bends a little easier because of how tall it is but not to any great degree to worry about.  I washed dishes with them on, put stuff in and out of my pocket, carried a three year old around and cooked with them on and the pictures you see above are after I did all this!

People who notice: I had 1 person notice right a way! She loved it. She commented on how beautiful the  color was and how interesting they looked! I told her all about the designer!

So please go check out all her jewelry! She has so much to choose from!!
